Best way to solve any problem is to talk about it, …… I should know better..…after the usual dvd-comic hunting, we finally had the chance ….. we talk, we shared, and finally we laugh about how silly we were in the past couple of days …..God… , seeing the smile on her face again really light up the fire and bring back the warmth in me.

I learn my lesson now, some stuff no matter what cannot be put on the bottom of the list. I understand how the last 10 months must made u feels miserable … but I’ll make it up for u. This year will be ended with the same smile (and a lot of them) that I seen today….
I promise…………

one of my closest friend once said : "....you only update your blog when you really happy, really sad or really depressed" ....hell I guess she's right...kekekekek. So here it is, it's been several days now and I can't feel relieved....Where the hell is my spirit? ...... never once I wake up in the morning not knowing what to do today....hate this feeling...hate this...hate this...

not that kind of bad news.....

it's kind of disappointing..really...right when I feel that I 'running low on gas', the news came and it came like a slap in the face...not the kind of slap that wakes u up but the one that really bring you down...what the hell am I doing in the last 10 months...?

mengajar itu menyenangkan...

Seneng...finally apa yang saya kerjakan bisa berguna buat orang lain. 7 hari di Aceh, 7 hari di Bogor, 7 hari di Malang....stress, capek, tapi puasss...Mengajar itu menyenangkan, gimana ngga? ada setitik kepuasan yang ngga bisa dikatakan begitu orang yang diajar bisa jalan sendiri, mandiri, dan tahu lebih banyak dari sebelumnya. Mungkin begitu kali rasanya jadi guru yha...?

longest 3 months

3 bulan panjang di awal tahun yang begitu melelahkan...fiuhh....belon sepenuhnya terlewati sih tapi paling ngga udah bisa narik nafas sedikit.

Made some important decisions...take some risk....trying something new....giving it all...and floated away...leaving some disappointment behind...yeah..hope it was worthed. Finding it hard to recognize who I am now...am I too ambitious? am I too cocky? did I hurt some people along the way?

Never done this before...stay low ..play it safe....always stay low ... that's what I'm always holding on...but now?...am I too ambitious? am I too cocky?.... am I a fool for asking this to my self over and over and over again...

Buta Peta?

Pertanyaan diatas terdengar begitu menggelitik. Saya kontan mengalihkan perhatian dari lembaran koran sore ke layar TV yang kebetulan malam itu sedang disandera sang permaisuri untuk nonton Miss Teen USA 2007. Saat itu sepertinya (karena saya ngga' begitu mengerti tahapan beauty pageant) sedang babak penentuan terakhir dan wajah cantik Lauren Catlin Lipton, kontestan dari South Carolina yang kebetulan mendapatkan pertanyaan diatas, membeku di depan layar TV. Pertanyaan yang lumayan sulit untuk ukuran kontes kecantikan tingkat anak2 muda dibawah usian 21 tahun. Jauh lebih sulit dari pertanyaan retorika standar USA saat ini: perang Irak, terorisme, separatisme, dll.

Sebagian sel di otak saya memerintahkan sang bibir membentuk senyum penasaran menunggu jawaban kayak apa yang bakal keluar dari mulut di wajah cantik itu. Sebagian lagi tenggelam dalam pemikiran...kalo di negara yang edukasinya semaju Amerika generasi mudanya bisa 'buta peta', bagaimana anak-anak muda di Tanah Air? Tapi nanti dulu..selang beberapa detik jawaban yang ditunggu keluar juga. Begini katanya:

"I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps, and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq everywhere like, such as and I believe that they should, our education over here in the US. should help the US, er, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children." Saya kontan masuk dalam kondisi trance alis melongo abiss..... dan sang permaisuri tertawa lepas..."huahahaha....ngaco...!!" katanya. Memang menjawab pertanyaan di atas panggung yang ditonton ribuan orang amat sangat tidak mudah.....tapi jawabannya itu lho.....

Ah sudahlah..., namanya juga Miss Teen USA...., saya kembali ke koran sore dan cerita tentang pergolakan Myanmar, walaupun sekelumit batin saya tetap melayang bersama pertanyaan, "bagaimana anak-anak muda di Tanah Air? ". Terlintas cita2 lama yang belum tercapai sampai saat ini. Buta petakah mereka? Banyakkah anak Indonesia yang tidak tahu dimana Indonesia diatas peta? ... ....saya rasa tidak, ...saya yakin tidak........tapi akhirnya saya cuma bisa menghela napas....."....saya harap tidak...."
